Biography

Kanaga has been in practice since 2001 and with Raja Seelan & Associates from September 2005. In
January 2009 he became a partner in Messrs Raja Seelan & Associates.

Kanaga is actively involved in dispute resolution in corporate and commercial matters and regularly appears in the High
Court, Court of Appeal and occasionally in the Federal Court.

Kanaga has litigated construction disputes both in Court and in arbitration. He is retained to and
advises on several EPC Contracts in the Oil and Gas, Power and Railway Industries.

Administrative Law actions

Kanaga has been involved in judicial review applications to defend a quarry contractor, to bring claims against public authorities in relation to the MRT Project and another highway project.

Defamation

Actions in Defamation, including successfully bringing Defamation actions on behalf of a property developer client and trustees of a charitable trust
